We work with owner-operators and small teams who want the business to do more: scale what is already working, run with less friction, or open a new source of revenue. AI is part of how we get there. The goal is movement in the business.
We built o_k_k around a simple conviction: this work belongs close to the people running the company. We stay intentionally small, work directly with the operator, and remain accountable after the first system goes live. As the evidence changes, so does the work.
The practice is led by Micah Smith, who has spent his career inside the kinds of problems we take on: helping grow a company beyond $10M in revenue, putting machine learning into production, building new products and revenue lines, and untangling operations across manufacturing, commerce, finance, and software. That range matters because the useful answer is rarely “add AI.” It is understanding where the business can move—and building what makes it move.
Micah also runs Heurai, a separate frontier AI lab. Heurai develops a different kind of AI; o_k_k puts today's AI to work inside the business.
